Previous Layouts
Version One: Michelle Branch

This was the very first version for the domain. It was extremely simple with just a couple of pages, the only thing personal about it was an "about me" page. I used it mainly as a link station for all my fansites and listings. It was created in Word and I wasn't able to edit or update it as once something is coded once in Word you can't modify it unless you want to re-write all of the coding again. Needless to say I learnt the coding for IFrames soon after realising this.

Version Two: Jensen Ackles

So now I was using IFrames. And loving the freedom they gave me to create a page without the stupid limits of the previous layout. I was, however, still using Word to code the main pages. For a moment I forgot that people don't always have the same fonts as you might installed on their computer so I used Lucida Calligraphy.

Version Three: Reese Witherspoon

One of my proudest web designing moments. I fully hand coded a site. This was actually the second hand coded page as before that I had revamped my One Of These Days fanlisting but I was incredibly proud of this version. I now had a TagBoard but the rest of the content was on one page.

Version Four: Howie Dorough

I found a way to create transparent IFrames and ran with it. Everything was basically the same as before.

Version Five: Christina Milian

More of a summery feel. I scanned a few pictures and came up with a more interesting layout.

Version Six: Endless Ending (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon)

I took some screen captures from the last scene of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, my then favourite movie. The font was terrible, Ignacious. Barely read-able and not on everyone's systems. I used JavaScript for the enter page so that the images changed on rollover.

Version Seven: Zhang Ziyi

A completely different concept and design. I wanted my featured person to be interactive with the layout in some way and this was the result. This version was the beginning of the proper personal site that I have now with my blends and a blog included. I loved this layout but at the time I was changing layouts monthly so it didn't last long.

Version Eight: Lindsay Lohan

Keeping the same concept as my Zhang Ziyi layout, I created this. I experimented with pop ups so that the site was smaller screen-wise. I also used link transitions.

Version Nine: A Walk In The Park

Using two photographs for my enter and main pages, of Australia and America respectively, I created another pop up layout. I used transparent scrollbars and IFrames so that everything could kind of dissolve into the leaves.

Version Ten: Sarah Michelle Gellar

The construction of this layout took me ages. The navigation was arranged at various places in the layout and the table was complicated to code.

Version Eleven: So Tired Of Being Here (Evanescence)

A screen capture from Evanescence's My Immortal was used in this layout. It was very simple.

Version Twelve: Flowers

This layout took ages to create and I was proud with the end result but IFrame was far too small. I only left this layout up for six days, breaking my monthly cycle of change.

Version Thirteen: Rachel Stevens

The first layout I did of its kind, this was the first time I used the vertical scrollbar for the main page.

Version Fourteen: Michelle Branch

New year, new layout. As it was my domain's first birthday I had Michelle Branch as the feature as I had done so the last January.

Version Fifteen: Hrithik Roshan

At the time I made this layout I was yet to find the kind of photos of Hrithik I wanted - a photoshoot. I only had four photographs to choose from and so changed the way I wanted the layout to accommodate them properly. Of course, as it goes, I've since found a few perfect photographs so I'll no doubt use them in the near future. This layout was up for three months as shortly after uploading it I got my own computer that doesn't have internet access so I'd spent more time on my new computer making graphics and layouts that I'd yet to transfer.

Version Sixteen: Suraj Hua Maddham (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham)

Using the constructive idea of my Rachel Stevens layout I arrived at this layout. Simple but easy to view as the pages were large. Everything new was situated on the left, showing how I updated and when.

Version Seventeen: Utada Hikaru

Missing my Zhang Ziyi and Lindsey Lohan layouts terribly, I decided to recreate the effect. I was happy with this layout and it stayed for just over a year.

Version Eighteen: Veer-Zaara

I created this layout a year or so before I actually used it, going through one of my many layout making phases. I loved what I made but for some reason the stylesheet that I'd used as a template, one that I'd used on quite a few sites, had a glitch. I don't know why it didn't work because I went through the coding many times, but it meant that in Firefox, the site looked like I hadn't put in any effort. I was upset because in Internet Explorer it looked great but that wasn't good enough. I set about changing the layout only a few weeks after it had been up although actually removing and replacing took months.

Version Nineteen: Mourya Re (Don)

Having just seen the movie, I wanted to make a layout featuring something, anything, to do with Don and chose the song Mourya Re. This mostly due to the fact that I had quite a few images at my disposal. Using oranges and reds I brightened up the site significantly compared to the layout before and best of all I had a stylesheet that worked in Firefox.

Version Twenty: Mari Yaguchi

Christmas was in full swing when I made this version and I wanted to reflect the winter months of the West. I kept the main navigation to a minimum and had the secondary navigation listed in the main frame. The side bar content was re-introduced.

Version Twenty One: Art by Der Jen

This was the very first valid XHTML layout for the site and I was extremely proud that I'd finally learnt to use CSS properly.

Version Twenty Two: Carnelian Valley Poem

I used percentages one the site for the very first time. I found that although I initially loved the layout, the header image was much too busy so I changed it and version twenty three was born.
